| Make way for the new 2022 edition which is one of the best yet to hit the LCBO shelves and just perfect for warm weather. This very tasty, crowd-pleasing, continuously available Vintages Essential has a bright very pale straw colour with an attractive, intense, gently spicy, slightly floral, fresh, ripe apple-melon-lemon nose with bright mineral notes. Off-dry and medium-light bodied, the tangy, fresh, bright, ripe, apple-melon-lemon flavours are followed up with a lingering, crisp, mineral-tinged finish. Wonderfully balanced and ready-to-drink, it has a modest 10% alcohol, 28 g/L residual sugar and a seriously hefty refreshing 9.23 g/L total acidity with a screwcap closure. A terrific well-priced summertime refresher. |

| TASTING NOTE: Always among the most reliable expressions of Niagara Riesling, this wine overdelivers on value without sacrificing its fun, easy-to-enjoy character. The 2022 was sourced primarily from Tawse's Limestone Ridge site, which gives the wine its distinct minerality. It's racy, fresh and generous, with tangerine, apple, peach and lifted floral notes. A perfect sipping wine, it will go well with spicy curries, charcuterie platters or sushi. |
