TULLIBARDINE |
Light straw colour. Fairly floral, honeyed, ripe red apple nose - seems a bit simple. Well balanced, dry, gently honeyed, ripe apple-plum flavours with a hint of peatiness evident with a crisp, light, lemon finish. |

The making of alcoholic beverages, in one form or another, has been occurring on the Tullibardine property since the 12th century. Beginning life as a brewery, Tullibardine's early claim to fame was that, in 1488, they provided the ales for the Scottish king James IV's coronation. Distilling began in the 18th century. The property was closed in the late 20th century and reopened in 2003 when new ownership acquired the property and the existing stocks. This 1993 distillation is the first product to be released by the new owners. |
