Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, forward, ripe, cherry-plum purée nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, fairly dense, intense, ripe plum and black cherry purée flavours with a lingering, high-acid, gently cedary finish. This very tasty blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc has 14% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar. Les Terrasses de Saint Christophe is the second label of Château Tour Saint Christophe. |

TASTING NOTE: Platinum: Best Right Bank Bordeaux Award. 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. Complex aromas burst through, refined sleek oak overlaying herbaceous dark fruits and a savoury iron background. Black plums and cherries dominate the spicy cocoa palate, with crystalline minerality and a long, confident, peppery, finish. Score - 95 (Decanter World Wine Awards, 2017) |
