CREEKSIDE |
Bright extremely pale straw colour. Very reductive, sweaty, herbal, stewed apple-lemon nose with some mineral-tinged, beeswax notes. Dry, medium-light bodied, youthful, very slightly spicy, somewhat grassy, very faintly bitter apple-melon flavours with a very crisp, unoaked finish. Has 11.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. Better than the 2013 (*+/**) released on August 30, 2014 at $17.95. TONY ASPLER / 87-points - Slightly reductive nose of cut grass and grapefruit; medium-bodied, dry, crisp, green plum and grapefruit flavours with a touch of oxidation. |

TASTING NOTE: From grapes you can see growing right off the back deck at the estate. Beautiful aromatics of fresh squeezed lemon and lime with subtle herbs and grass notes. It's bright and vibrant on the palate with citrus goodness and underlying garden herbs through a clean finish. Fresh and pure Savvy. Score - 89 (Rick VanSickle, winesinniagara.com, Sept. 10, 2017) |
