JCB NO. 69 BRUT ROSÉ CRÉMANT DE BOURGOGNE Traditional method, AC, Burgundy, France |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
BOISSET |
Bright medium light orange salmon colour. Slightly spicy, very pleasant, ripe melon-apple-strawberry nose. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, fairly crisp, ripe, melon-apple-strawberry flavours with a lingering, fairly effervescent, bright, fresh finish. Ready-to-drink. Has 12% alcohol with 12 g/L residual sugar and is made in the Traditional method. Everything about this bubbly is fine, except the price which for my taste is too high. |

TASTING NOTE: Pours a steely pink with orange glints and a generous froth. A seductive nose of red currants and yellow apples. On the palate it's full-bodied and creamy with tart red fruit character and perky acidity. Excellent, Highly Recommended. Score - 91 (Ultimate Wine Challenge, 2017) |
