Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
CHÂTEAU VAL JOANIS |
Bright pale day-glo salmon pink colour. Slightly spicy, faintly honeyed, very pleasant, ripe plum-apple nose. Dry, light bodied, slightly spicy, bright, fresh, ripe apple-plum flavours with a very crisp, unoaked finish. Ready-to-drink. Has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. Very good value and better than the 2016 (*+/**) released on June 10, 2017 at $15.95. |

TASTING NOTE: Delicate peach and strawberry flavors are offset by bramble and crushed stone notes in this plump but vibrantly balanced dry rosé. It's a crisply concentrated, refreshing wine to enjoy now. Score - 88 (Anna Lee Iijima, Wine Enthusiast, July 1, 2018) |
