TASTING NOTE: Don't let the name confuse you; this 100% single malt has 46% bottled alcohol by volume. It's evocative of campfire smoke, sweet spices, candied orange and autumn leaves, with, as one member of our panel put it, \"peat, smoke and more peat!\" The finish is luxuriously long, with smoky layer upon layer. Sip neat or with a splash of water. (Vintages panel, Oct. 2017) |
