TASTING NOTE: New from the lads at Henry of Pelham (but not labeled as a Henry of Pelham wine), this is very much in the next generation of dry, very pale, pastel Provencal-styled roses in curvacious bottles. It has a quite intense nose that has a little flinty sulphur at the moment, with light strawberry, herbs and pink grapefruit. It is nicely smooth, fresh and well balanced - nicely cohesive in fact, with a focused palate and excellent length. Drinks with real panache. Score - 91 (David Lawrason, winealign.com, April 20, 2018) |
