Not presented at the press and/or consultants preview in the LCBO lab. Here is my note for the 750ml bottle. Very bright day-glo pale salmon pink colour. Gently spicy, mineral-tinged, plum-apple nose. Dry, light bodied, tangy, spicy, fresh plum-apple flavours with a crisp unoaked finish. Ready-to-drink. Has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. The 2016 (**) was released on May 13, 2017 at $45.95. |

This domaine, originally a truffle orchard, was converted to a vineyard in the early 1900s. TASTING NOTE: Vibrant pale orange. Expressive nose of strawberry and red berry fruits with a fine tangy note. Ample, smooth, concentrated palate driven by delicate tension, honest spicy fruit aromas and a harmonious sensation. A wonderful, virile wine for full-flavoured foods. Score - 88 (gilbertgaillard.com, 2018) |
