TASTING NOTE: This has excellent intensity, presence, complexity and refinement - as one would expect from vines planted in 1984. Great richness to go along with the bright, lifted tones and impressive lime and minerality. Generous and juicy, this is a truly classy expression of Ontario Riesling. A refined wine that will impress alone but has Riesling's wonderful food-friendliness in spades. Try it with barbecued ribs, chicken or pulled pork, or give it a go with seafood. You really cannot miss with this wine. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2017) |
