The Pinot Noir for this wine was grown with the specific intent of making this rosé. (Sometimes a rosé is crafted from runoff juice from grapes destined to make red wine.) In France, this style of wine is traditionally known as oeil-deperdrix, which translates to \"eye of the partridge\" and refers to its pale pink colour. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this wine goes toward breast cancer research. |
