CÔTE DES ROSES ROSÉ 2017 AP Languedoc |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
GÉRARD BERTRAND |
Pale bright faintly salmon pink colour. Slightly spicy, shy, plum-apple nose. Dry, light bodied, slightly spicy, pleasant, fresh, apple-tinged, melon-plum flavours with a crisp, unoaked finish. The bottle presented at the press tasting had no back label, so I do not have a lot number. Unfortunately, this Vintages Essentials item was not presented at the consultants preview. The recommended best buy 2016 (**+) was released on May 27, 2017 at $17.95. |

A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection! |
A classically styled blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah that always delivers a vibrant, complex array of citrus, red fruit and herbal tones. Consistency is as much its stock-in-trade as is the eye-catching rose-shaped bottle. Equally at home at a backyard barbecue with grilled chicken or as a component of a more refined dining experience that calls for a bright, elegant touch at table. |
