TASTING NOTE: This is a real treat, with upfront strawberry and red fruit tones, a touch of spice mid-palate and a hint of Cab Franc's characteristic pepper tones. It's round and smooth with great weight, structure and tone throughout and a snappy, fresh finish. What to pair with this? Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets; this has the stuffing for grilled pork and the versatility for grilled salmon. (Vintages panel, April 2018) |
