Villa Maria was founded in 1961 by Sir George Fistonich. (He was just plain old George then, before all the accolades came rolling in - among them the distinction of being the first person to receive a knighthood for services to the wine industry.) In March 2018, Fistonich stepped down as CEO after 57 years, but he remains active as president and brand ambassador. This will be a crisp, characterful rosé with cherry, citrus and grass tones. Chill and sip or serve with a charcuterie platter. |
