Fairly deep intense purple colour. Somewhat cedary, fairly intense, spicy, ripe plum-cherry-apple puree nose. Dry, medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, tangy, ripe plum-apple-crancherry flavours with a crisp, very faintly cedary finish. Has 13% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points / BUY - Mature ruby in colour; lovely nose of raspberries with well-integrated oak; light to medium-bodied, dry, elegant raspberry and strawberry flavours; well-balanced with a firm tannic finish. |
