Very bright medium straw colour. Intense, complex, very toasty, lemon meringue nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, cedary, intense, ripe lemon meringue, key lime pie flavours with a lingering, high acid, complex finish. Great with poultry and white meats - not seafood. Has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. This RESERVE Chardonnay is incorrectly described as the regular 2013 Chardonnay (which is only $19.95 see # 398966) in the LCBO website & Vintages Catalogue, TONY ASPLER / 90-points / BUY - Pale straw in colour; spicy, reductive nose of apple and lemon;Full-bodied, Burgundian style, lemony, apple flavour crisply dry, and firm with a nutty note on the finish. |
