TASTING NOTE: Very much a baby Blanc de Blancs Champagne as a Brut Crémant and in a way reminds me of Feuillatte. Classically-styled Burgundy bubbles feign chardonnay B de B in which aridity and compression meet at the crossroads. There is an apple-terpene note to remind of origin but beyond the fruit there is citrus and dense alternating layers of texture and acidity. No wrongs involved in the comparisons or the enjoyment. Drink 2017-2019. Score - 88 (Michael Godel, winealign.com, Jan. 2017) |
