Forward light yellow colour. Attractive, spicy, honeyed, fresh ripe lemon-apple nose with some hints of hay. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, fairly spicy, ripe apple-lemon flavours with a very crisp, effervescent finish. This 100% Chenin Blanc has 12% alcohol and 12 g/L residual sugar. Much better than when it last appeared in Vintages (**) with 87.5-points on October 29, 2016 at $17.95 and was an Explorer Selection. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BEST BUY - Straw colour; apple and quince nose with a light floral note; medium-bodied, bright, crisply dry, apple and lemon flavours with a touch of sweetness in mid-palate. |
