Medium orange-tinged salmon colour. Spicy, sweetish, honeyed, baked apple-melon nose. Dry, medium-light bodied, very spicy, cooked red apple flavours with a crisp, unoaked, leesy finish. Ready-to-drink. This blend of Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc has 12.7% alcohol on the label and comes with a screwcap closure. It apparently sells for $15.95 at the winery. |

TASTING NOTE: This blend of Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc presents a wonderful nose of rhubarb, strawberry and raspberry with some distinct Cab Franc pepper tones. Lithe and delicate on the palate - far more so than the nose suggests - this will make a refreshing sipper, but it will also be nice with rosemary-encrusted grilled pork.
