The first traces of the château's site date back to Gaullist times during which its location served as a lookout point to spot intruders coming by boat into the Gulf of Frejus. Thankfully, the only forces likely to be bearing down on your place when this rosé is on hand are your wine-loving friends looking to share a glass. The blend consists primarily of Grenache and Rolle (Vermentino). The 2015 Vintage was awarded a rating of 90 points by James Molesworth, who described it as \"[Showing] lovely range and tension for a rosé\" (winespectator.com, Aug. 31, 2016). |
