Very bright pale light pink colour. Rather shy, gently spicy, mineral-tinged, plum-apple nose. Dry, light bodied, tangy, plum-apple flavours with a crisp unoaked finish. Ready-to-drink. Has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. You can safely ignore the tasting note appearing in the Vintages Catalogue. The 2015 (**) was released on April 30, 2016 at $22.95. |

This domain, originally a truffle orchard, was converted to a vineyard in the early 1900s. TASTING NOTE: Such a lovely, delicate rose with fleeting notes of small, fresh, wild strawberries that run riot in an open field by a small stream. Medium-bodied and so fresh. Perfect as a mouthwatering aperitif or as a companion to seafood. Score - 91 (Natalie MacLean, nataliemaclean.com, May 13, 2017) |
