Bright very light salmon pink colour. Slightly spicy, faintly honeyed, ripe apple nose. Off dry, light bodied, very spicy, ripe, apple-plum purée flavours with a crisp, unoaked, somewhat sweetish finish. Ready-to-drink. This entry-level 100% Pinot Noir rose has 13.5% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar with APN030/370/17 on the back label. Screwcap closure. TASTING NOTE: Grown in vineyards surrounding the village of Koenigschaffhausen (say that five times fast), this 100% Pinot Noir rosé opens with lovely aromas of pink grapefruit, red plum and herb garden.
