TASTING NOTE: This is named for the village of Lochranza on the Isle of Arran and is a lighter take on the already light Arran style. Matured in bourbon and sherry casks, it offers floral, wood and toast notes in a super smooth delivery. For newcomers to Scotch in particular, this approachable and accessibly priced dram will be a grand introduction. (VINTAGES panel, March 2016) |
