TASTING NOTE: Thrilling sparkling from chardonnay, 09 greater complexity than last-tasted NV, with apple, bruised pear & baked brioche character from oaking, 2 years on lees as base wine, 3 in bottle. Fresh & tangy, superbly balanced. Delicious now, will develop. Score - 4 1/2 Stars (out of 5) (Platter's South African Wine Guide, 2015) |
