JOSEF CHROMY |
Medium straw colour. Attractive, slightly spicy, bright ripe lemon-apple nose with some slight toasty notes. Very dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, bright, tangy, fresh ripe apple-lemon flavours with a lingering, very crisp, gently toasty, high acid finish. Quite classy with very good effervescence and can still evolve. Has 12% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar with lot number L061015 on the lower part of the glass bottle. TONY ASPLER: 90.5 - BEST BUY- leesy, apple nose; medium-bodied, dry, honey and apple flavours with lively citrus acidity; well balanced with a long finish. |

TASTING NOTE: This sparkling wine was produced in the state-of-the-art Josef Chromy winery in Tasmania. Pale straw-lemon in colour, it opens with aromas of binned apple and freshly baked bread. Honey, pear, citrus and tangy green apple, bracing minerality and bright natural acidity create a wonderful sensation of freshness and finesse. Pair with fish, fresh fruit or sharp cheeses.
