Only 642 bottles of this Signatory bottling were produced and Vintages acquired 450 of them. Vintages tasting note: Pale straw yellow with true Islay aromas of leather, iodine, kelp, nutmeg and smoke. Dry, smoky, intense yet very fresh Scotch. Very palate cooling. Medium full-bodied with a very long finish. (David Churchill, March 2003) |
