GRAND CRU BRUT CHAMPAGNE 2006 AC, Ambonnay |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
MARGUET PÈRE & FILS |
Bright very light yellow colour. Very slightly spicy, gently toasty, ripe lemon puree nose. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, well structured, ripe lemon flavours with attractive, very slightly honeyed, gently toasty notes on the lingering finish. Has very good mousse. Much better than the 2000 (**/**+) released on June 7, 2008 at $52.95. |

This vintage Grand Cru Champagne is 100% Chardonnay. TASTING NOTE: This is seamless with lovely freshness and flavors, from pie crust to dried mango. Muscular. Wonderful density yet agile. Super lively, so insane. Score - 94 (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, March 11, 2013) |
