TASTING NOTE: Fresh and fruity on the nose in classic Arran style, with pears, toffee apple, and vanilla. Cinnamon and ginger notes develop in time. Sweet and honeyed on the palate, medium-bodied, with well-mannered background sherry lingering into the spicy finish. (Gavin D. Smith, 1001 Whiskies You Must Taste Before You Die, 2012, 2012) |
