TASTING NOTE: Medium amber-chestnut colour. Rich aromas of butterscotch, vanilla, smoke, orange pekoe tea, and hints of dried citrus and apricot. The palate is smoky with a velour texture and an intriguing interplay of toffee and orange peel. Long, layered finish. One for contemplative sipping, or to savour while enjoying some music and conversation with friends. (Vintages panel, July 2011) |
