Light yellow colour. Fairly floral, honeyed, ripe red apple nose which seems a bit simple. Very dry, gently honeyed, ripe apple-plum flavours with a crisp, light, rather peppery finish. |

Beginning life in the 12th century as a brewery, Tullibardine s earliest claim to fame was as the supplier of ales to the Scottish King James IV s coronation in 1488. Distilling began in the 18th century. The property was closed in the late 20th century and reopened in 2003 when new owners acquired the property and the existing stocks. This 1993 is an excellent, fragrant aperitif Scotch. |
