LA CHEVALIÈRE |
| It has a medium-deep purple colour and a bright, fresh, lively, fruit-driven nose with lots of ripe plum-raspberry-cassis fruit. Dry, medium bodied, well balanced and nicely textured with gently complex, ripe, Damson-plum-cassis-raspberry flavours that linger perfectly on the palate. At its peak and perfect for current enjoyment (rack of lamb), this new blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 5% Carignan and 5% Mourvedre and has 14.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar. |

| TASTING NOTE: Wines sourced from the red marl and sandstone soils of the small village of Rasteau typically exhibit a ripe, red-fruit-driven flavour, with a touch of garrigue and dried herbs on the finish. This example will be delicious tonight with a roasted lamb shoulder in rosemary, garlic and thyme. |
