TRADITION SPARKLING 2020 VQA Beamsville Bench, Niagara Escarpment, traditional method
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer KEW
Bright light yellow colour with fairly good effervescence. Fairly intense, gently complex, very faintly toasty, ripe lemon-apple meringue nose with some chalky-mineral notes. Fairly dry, medium to medium-light bodied, very slightly spicy, bright, yellow apple and pear flavours with a crisp, faintly quince-tinged, minerally finish. This pleasant, versatile, ready-to-drink, crowd-pleasing sparkler made from 50% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Meunier and 20% Pinot Noir was aged on its lees for five years. meaning that it was disgorged only in the past few months and may improve over the next year. It has 3.5% g/L residual sugar and 12% alcohol - there is no lot number on the bottle. CSPC 491092
