SYRAH/VIEILLES VIGNES GRENACHE 2022 AP CĂ´tes du Roussillon
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer DOMAIN LAFAGE
This very tasty crowd-pleaser has a deep purple colour and a very attractive, intense, ripe, cassis-plum-black-cherry nose. Dry, medium-plus bodied with bright, juicy, ripe, plum-blach-cherry-cassis flavours are followed up by a lingering, bright, faintly cedary, mocca-tinged, finish. This blend of 70% Syrah (in concrete tanks) and 30% Grenache (in 600 litre oak demi-muid barrels) has 15% alcohol and under 4 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number L25071C on the lower part of the glass bottle. This versatile, crowd-pleaser is the 20th Vintages release and is one of the best to date. CSPC 320499
