| Bright lpale yellow colour. Minerally, initially somewhat lightish, red-apple-lemon nose with some faintly dusty, buttered toast notes. Dry, medium bodied, very bright, crisp, youthful, red and green apple flavours with some minerally, faintly bitter pear peel notes on the lingering, effervescent finish. This 100% Chardonnay was aged for over 7 years on the lees and has 12% alcohol, 4.8 g/L residual sugar and a hefty 7.8 g/L total acidity with lot number 24/04/24 on the lower part of the glass bottle. |

| TASTING NOTE: This is a gorgeous blanc de blancs made in the traditional method, mature, yet also sprightly. Honeyed+, sweet floral aromas precede flavours of red apples, dried lemons and zest, and orange marmalade on toasted brioche. Tangy acids add some verve and energy to the palate, while the finish is long lasting and complex, with a hint of wet stones emerging towards the end. Tasted November 2024.
