OKANAGAN DISCOVERY TEMPRANILLO 2020 British Columbia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer INNISKILLIN
NEW in Vintages, this tasty blend of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Merlot has a deep purple-red colour with an attractive, intense, bright, gently complex, ripe, Damson plum nose with lots of cedary sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-to-medium-full-bodied, quite well structured, ripe, dark ripe plum flavours with a fairly extracty, lingering, rather cedary, dense, faintly savoury finish. Fairly priced and showing very well, it will appeal to knowledgeable Spanish wine fans. Aged in French and American oak for 12 months, it has 14.4% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 230413 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Only 500 cases were produced. CSPC 46640
