| Very bright medium straw colour. Intense, slightly spicy, mineral-tinged, very attractive, ripe, apple-yellow-grapefruit nose with some faintly leesy, petrol-tinged notes. Dry, medium bodied, gently spicy, intense, mineral-tinged, bright, ripe, apple-lemon flavours with a lingering, very crisp, unoaked, schisty finish. Has fine mouthfeel and it will be great with seafood (especially oysters) and poultry. Enjoyable now and should become more complex with additional aging. It has 13.5% alcohol, 3.5 g/L residual sugar and a hefty 8.7 g/L total acidity. Screwcap closure. |
