NEW in Vintages. Bright medium straw colour. Fairly intense, slightly spicy, ripe, lemon-apple meringue nose with some minerally notes. Dry, medium bodied, very slightly spicy, minerallly, somewhat chalky, youthful, ripe, lemon-apple flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, lingering, bright, gently complex finish. Fermented and aged in stainless steel on the lees, this tasty 100% Chardonnay has 12.5% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L5061 on the back label. CSPC 45275

TASTING NOTE: Mâcon-Charnay is one of the smallest areas in the Mâcon and features mostly Chardonnay. The vineyards are planted in siliceous clay or sand, which translates to taut, precise wines with excellent depth, concentration and freshness. This wine was fermented and aged on the lees in stainless steel, retaining all the delicate white floral, peach and citrus tones. Drink before 2028. Price $ 26.95
