RESERVA 2018 DOCa Rioja
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer LAN
Deep intense purple colour. Attractive, intense, ripe, plum-cranberry-cassis nose with lots of cedary notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite firm, slightly spicy, cedary, ripe, plum-crancherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, gently cedary finish. Still youthful, it needs a large tasting glass. This blend of 92% Tempranillo, 4% Mazuelo and 4% Garnacha was aged in oak for 22 months followed by at least 22 months in bottle. It comes with a new modern white label and has 13.5% alcohol, under 2 g/L residual sugar and 5.1 g/L total acidity with lot number L017025/260400 on the back label. CSPC 42929
