SÉLECTION MON COEUR CÔTES DU RHÔNE 2023 AOC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer J. L. CHAVE
Mon Coeur combines four terroirs located in the Chateauneuf-du-Pape region and is a 50-50 blend of old vine (20-60 years) Syrah and Grenache. Extremely deep purple colour with an intense, complex, faintly earthy, ripe plum nose. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, solid and harmonious, it is slightly spicy with ripe, rich, plum flavours followed up by a lingering, gently cedary, sandalwood-tinged, bright finish. Great with a rack of lamb. Still youthful, it has 15% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 45322
