| NEW in Vintages. This remarkable second wine of Chateau Brown is a blend of 88% Sémillon and 12% Sauvignon Blanc and was fermented in second-use oak barrels and aged for 8 months in a mix of concrete tanks and mild toast French oak barrels with twice monthly bâtonnage. In the glass, the wine displays a radiant golden yellow color with very attractive, complex slightly spicy, very ripe, lemon-apple meringue along with some minerally-toasty notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, very well structured, slightly spicy, mineral-driven, ripe, lemon-apple meringue flavours with some faintly leesy, extremely bright, mineral-driven, complex, cedar notes. It has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. |
