| This tasty ready-to-drink 2023 Gewurz has a bright medium straw colour nose and an attractive, fairly intense, gently spicy, honeyed, floral, lychee-apple-pear nose. Dry, medium bodied, gently spicy, honeyed, bright, ripe lychee flavours with a lingering, crisp, faintly bitter finish. It has 13.5% alcohol, only 2 g/L residual sugar and 5.8 g/L total acidity with lot number 2024/10/02 on the upper part of the glass bottle. Terrific with curries and Asian cuisine. Also works well as a chilled afternoon sipper with hors d’oeuvres and at Sunday brunch. Only 250 cases produced. |
