| TASTING NOTE: Primitivo, a specialty of Puglia in southern Italy, is identical to the Zinfandel grape popular in California. This one is ripe, vibrant and smoky, with impressive intensity tempered by deft restraint. Bring on the smokehouse ribs, charcuterie, or meaty pasta dishes. |
