CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2021 PDO Balatonboglár, Rad-ikon, Somogy, Hungary
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer KO
Very deep intense purple colour. Attractive, fairly intense, ripe plum nose with a touch of cedar-tinged crancherry. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, ripe, Damson plum flavours with a bright, faintly savoury, sandalwood-tinged, solid, lingering finish. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for nine months in new oak barriques and has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. It is very well priced and would go well with roast beef. Screwcap closure.
