UNITED STARS |
This well-priced Georgian gem has a bright pale straw colour. Slightly spicy, fresh, ripe, apple-tinged, honey dew aromatics with some faintly leesy, floral, minerally notes. Gently sweet, medium bodied, slightly honeyed, nicely textured, attractive, ripe, citrusy, cantaloupe fruit flavours with a lingering, rounded finish. A genuine, easy-drinking, versatile, crowd-pleaser, this 100% indigenous Rkatsiteli has lots to offer with 11% alcohol and 31 g/L residual sugar. Only 210 cases of this afternoon semisweet exotic ultra-relaxing sipper are available.

| TASTING NOTE: The Alazani Valley is a subregion of Kakheti and has a winemaking history dating back nearly 8,000 years. Slightly warmer than the region at large, the Alazani Valley produces very ripe fruit perfect for crafting semisweet wines such as this one, which is made from the indigenous Rkatsiteli variety. It offers a floral nose, with tropical fruit, mango, orange and honey notes on the palate. |
