| This tasty, bright, ready-to-drink blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre has a beep violrt-red colour with an appealing, fresh, ripe Damson plum and raspberry nose. Dry, medium bodied, very bright, gently tangy, fresh, plum-crancherry fruit flavours with a lingering, lifted, very refreshing, black-cherry-tinged finish. | TASTING NOTE: Sourced from a multitude of small parcels surrounding the town of Avignon, this Vintages customer favourite is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre that offers a core of soft tannins wrapped in plush red fruit flavours, with hints of worn leather and cracked black pepper. Serve alongside a well-seasoned stew or rack of lamb. [Concours International de Lyon did not include a tasting note.] Score - Gold (Concours International de Lyon, 2023) |
