| Last chance to snag this excellent 2022 vintage which is still available. The new 2023 will be released on December 20 Vintages release. The still-youthful 2022 release has a bright medium straw colour. Intense, very gently toasty, elegant, ripe, lemon-melon meringue nose with some minerally, honeysuckle-pear notes. Dry, medium plus bodied, nicely structured, intense, ripe, lemon-apple meringue flavours with a lingering, bright, fairly toasty, gently complex finish. Much better than the 2021 - try with poultry, ham and lamb, as well as vegetable-based dishes (ie. Eggplant Parmesan). This 100% Chardonnay was fermented and aged in 228 L French barrels for about 22 months and has 13.5% alcohol and just under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L24061 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. |
