| NEW in Vintages. This ripe old-vines estate Chardonnay has a light yellow colour. The nose shows ripe, lemon-apple meringue along with some faintly tropical-tinged, toasty notes. Dry, medium-plus bodied, ripe, wintermelon-pear fruit with some lemon-apple notes and a lingering, fairly bright, nicely textured, toasty-hazelnut finish. Versatile and ready-to-drink, this 2023 was aged in new French oak for 9 months (no American) and has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. |

| TASTING NOTE: Sourced from Reif's oldest block of estate Chardonnay vines (planted in 1981), this was fermented in stainless steel before maturing for nine months in new French oak. Rich and superbly elegant, it evokes juicy apple and stone fruit along with hazelnut and vanilla. Pair with salmon beurre blanc, buttery shellfish, grilled pork, or hazelnut crusted chicken breast. |
