THE AUTHENTIC ASSYRTIKO 2023 PGI Macedonia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer BOUTARI
NEW in Vintages. This 100% Assyrtiko has a medium straw colour and an intense, fairly complex classic nose focused on leesy-mineral notes layered on top of ripe lemon-apple fruit. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, very bright, lemon-apple flavours with some very faintly herbal, rather minerally, lingering leesy notes on the finish. Fermented in stainless steel and aged on stirred lees until just prior to bottling. Great with seafood and especially oysters, it has 12.6% alcohol, 2.3 g/L residual sugar and 5.1 g/L total acidity with lot number MA 010116/23 on the back label. CSPC 44246
