ATLANTIS DRY WHITE 2024 Santorini, Greece
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ARGYROS
Bright pale straw colour, the nose shows an avalanche of minerality with slightly spicy, youthful, ripe, melon-apple-lemon fruit along with some grassy-mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, bright, gently spicy, ripe, lemon-red-apple flavours with a crisp, unoaked, minerally finish. This blend of 90% Assyrtiko, 5% Athiri and 5% Aidani has 13.5% alcohol and 2.6 g/L residual sugar with lot number L2013033 on the back label. Still youthful and as it comes with a screwcap closure, it will definitely improve over the next few years. Perfect with fried calamari. CSPC 371658

TASTING NOTE: Adored for its crisp style and salty flavour profile, Assyrtiko is a variety of grape that captures the easygoing, free-spirited nature of the Greek archipelago. This blend of Assyrtiko and Athiri is fresh and vibrant, with hints of lemon peel, lilac and pineapple. Serve it tonight alongside grilled octopus and tomato-and-feta salad. Price $ 27.95
