CUVEE PALATIA ASSYRTIKO 2023 PDO Santorini
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ARGYROS
Bright medium-plus straw colour. Initially somewhat tight, fairly intense, youthful, minerally, very faintly spicy, slightly citrusy, complex, lemon-apple nose. Dry, medium-plus bodied, gently complex, slightly spicy, bright, ripe, slightly forward, lemon-apple flavours with some citrus-apricot notes on the lingering, minerally, harmonious, crisp finish. This well-textured unfiltered 2023 100% Assyrtiko spent 9 months on fine lees in stainless steel and has 14.5% alcohol, under 2 g/L residual sugar with 5.7 g/L total acidity and lot number L2233064 on the back label. Seems quite ready-to-enjoy but will improve with aging. NEW in Vintages. CSPC 46042
